Several trains cancelled and diverted due to agitation

Dehri-on-sone, Oct 30 (UNI) The Railways today cancelled six trains and diverted routes of as many trains in view of the day-long agitation of the Left parties, supported by the Maoists, to protest the acquisition of land for Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

Railway sources said here today that Palamu Express, Dehri- Bardadih, Mughalsarai-Barwadih besides train no - 630, 738 and 629 - were some of the trains, which had been cancelled.

Passenger trains running on Barwadih-Garhwa route had been diverted to Grand chord line, the sources added.

Howrah-Jabalpur, Hatia-Delhi, Jammu Tawai and Ranchi-New Delhi Express were some other trains, which had been affected due to the rescheduling.
