Postal employees stage dharna demanding withdrawl pension facility

Mysore, Oct 30 (UNI) Employees of the postal department today staged a protest in front of the central office office demanding withdrawl of a new pension facility.

The other demands were revision in pay scale for those working in rural areas, relaxation in recruitment and also providing job on compensatory grounds.

The protest was carred out under the banner of National Union of Post Employees (NUPE), Federation of National Post Organisations (FNPO) National Federation of Post Employees (NFPE) and All India Post Employees Union. All the post offices in the district have closed for the day.
