Poojary demands dissolution of state assembly
Bangalore, Oct 30 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary today demanded that the Karnataka Assembly be dissolved as there was no other option.
Talking to reporters here, he claimed that both the parties were unable to provide a stable and effective government.
''The parties, which had abused each other are now coming together again to form the government out of greed for power and not to serve the people,'' Mr Poojary alleged.
''Mr Deve Gowda had successfully ousted senior party leaders, including former Home Minister M P Prakash from the party for his son to grab power,'' he alleged.
The BJP, which had made allegations of bribery of Rs 150 crore in mining against JD(S), murder charges against former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and launched a 'Dharmayuddha', has once again joined hands with that party in their lust for power, Mr Poojary said.
