Notorious criminal escapes from police custody

Samastipur, Oct 30 (UNI) A notorious criminal here today managed to escape from the police custody when he was being escorted for production in the city court.

Police said accused Ranjeet Sahni was being produced in the city court in connection with a murder case this morning when he managed to escape from the police custody.

All the exit routes of the district had been sealed and raids were on to nab the criminal, sources added.
