Karunanidhi instigating 'bomb culture' in TN, alleges Jaya

Madurai, Oct 30 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today accused Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi of instigating 'bomb culture' in the state.

Laying the foundation stone for a 100-feet-high statue of veteran freedom fighter and late leader of All India Forward Bloc Muthuramalinga Thevar at Poovanthi village near here, Ms Jayalalithaa alleged ''Karunanidhi is against the principles of Thevar. He has participated in Thevar Jayanthi celebrations, eyeing elections.'' Jayalalitha claimed that during her tenure, she had announced 'Mukkulothors' as Thevar community and even issued a Government Order. But the successive Karunanidhi regimes had put on hold the order.

Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK) leader Vaiko and Moovendar Munnani Kazhagam founder N Sethuraman also participated in the function.
