Govt should grant demands of Sub-Registrar

Hyderabad, Oct 30 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Development Growth Publicity Organisation President M S Vidyasagar today demanded that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy must immediately concede the ''long-pending and justified'' demands of Sub-Registrars of Registration and Stamps Department to give them Gazetted Officers cadre.

In a statement here, he said Sub-Registrars had been collecting maximum revenue for the state Government and doing immense services to the general public by registering properties, chits and marriages. ''Is it not the duty of the State Government to concede their demand which is just and fair,'' he questioned.
