Central Govt pensioners stage dharna for enhanced DA

Vadodara, Oct 30 (UNI) Central Government pensioners today staged a dharna near the General Post Office here demanding enhanced DA arrears of Rs 1,000 from 2006.

They also demanded additional festival and house rent benefits of Rs 2,000 to be added to their pensionary benefits.

Those participating in the protest include pensioners from Postal, RMS, I-T, Railways, Central Excise and Defence departments.
