A villager strangulated to death in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 30 (UNI) A 35-year-old villager was strangulated to death in south Kashmir early this morning, a police spokesman said.

He said unidentified persons abducted one Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, at Amirabad Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama last night.

Sheikh was later hanged to death, he said. The body was recovered in the nearby fields this morning, he added.

Police have launched a massive hunt to nab the murderers, he said.
