Two children killed by army truck in Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer, Oct 29 (UNI) Two children were killed and one was injured by a speeding army truck near Kanod village in this bordering district yesterday, police said today.

Three children were playing along the road when they were hit by the army vehicle. A girl died on the spot while another child succumbed to injuries at a hospital in Jodhpur.

Another injured child was being treated at the hospital, the police added.

A group of villagers blocked traffic on the road for over four hours, after the accident.
