SCR cancels 39 trains due to rains

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) today cancelled 39 trains in Ongole-Gudur section of Vijayawada division, duo heavy rains in Nellore and Kadapa districts of Andhra Pradesh.

As a precautionary measure, the SCR cancelled 20 passenger trains and 19 express trains and partially cancelled eight other trains, a release said here.

Eleven long-distance trains in the section, were already diverted via Guntur-Nandyal-Gooty-Renigunta.
