Satyam signs SAP deal with Ciba

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services company, today announced that Basel, Switzerland-based Ciba Specialty Chemicals has selected Satyam to help operate a single global SAP system to support its global business.

During the five-year engagement, Satyam would help Ciba establish a cost-efficient platform that will service the chemical company's businesses at defined levels, and facilitate future IT and process enhancements, a release said here.

Satyam would help Ciba achieve a scalable and flexible allocation of IT resources, access to best practices and new technologies and fast, low-cost service delivery. Satyam would also streamline SAP integration.
