Paranjape Schemes launches world-class township in Pune

Mumbai, Oct 29 (UNI) Realty developer major Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Limited has launched a world class ownship, Blue Ridge, at Hinjewadi in Pune on Saturday.

This is the second township project that has been sanctioned by the Maharashtra government.

Spread over 138 acres, the township has an integrated IT/ITES SEZ, residential complex, a mall, a multiplex, a star hotel, world-class school.

Blue Ridge also boasts of other amenities like a boat club with kayaking, golf drives, squash courts, badminton court and beach volleyball. For someone more inclined to enjoying the peace and tranquility, the township has a serene marina one can walk along, a fruit orchard, a butterfly garden and even a pet zoo, a company release said here today.

As India inches closer to her dream of being a global economic superpower, Paranjape Schemes wants to address the need of millions of people, who are looking for a world-class living experience in India, said Shashank Paranjape, Managing Director of Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Limited.

The township was inaugurated by Mark Thornton, Business Head (Asia) of 3i, a world leader in private equity. Mr Thornton is one of the stakeholders in Indiareit, the fund that has invested in the project.
