Indian firms seek stakes in Qatar energy proj

Doha, Oct 29: Indian companies are interested in taking equity stakes in Qatar's energy projects, Indian Oil Minister Murli Deora said today in a speech at an energy conference in the Qatari capital.

Indian firms have signed contracts with Qatar to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar's Rasgas and to construct a pipeline worth 99 million dollars.
