Haryana Sanskrit Akademi organises 'Ved Sammelan'

Chandigarh, Oct 29 (UNI) The Haryana Sanskrit Akademi will organise a 'Ved Sammelan' in Panjab University here tomorrow to highlight the importance of Vedas.

Akademi Director Rameshwar Dutt Sharma said Dr Ram Gopal, an eminent scholar on the Veda studies, would be the Chief Guest and Dr Brij Bihari Chaube would preside over the Sammelan.

Dr Ram Gopal will deliver the inaugural lecture on 'Universal Utilities of Vedas.' Dr Mann Singh from Uttrakhand and Dr.

Luxmishwar Jha from New Delhi would also read their papers, he added.
