Governor allots portfolios to advisors

Bangalore, Oct 29 (UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today announced the portfolios for his three Advisors appointed by the Union Government on October 27.

According to a Rajbhavan communication issued here tonight, P P Prabhu would look after Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Food and Civil supplies, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Education, Health and Family Welfare, Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Cooperation, Cabinet Affairs.

Krishna Kumar would be in charge of Finance, Commerce and Industries, Urban Development, Energy, Public Works, Ports and Inland Water Transport, Infrastructure, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Science and Technology, Kannada and Culture, Water Resources, Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics, Public Enterprises and Housing.

Former RAW official P K R Tharakan would take care of Home, Transport, Revenue, Law, Justice and Human Rights, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, Social Welfare, Youth Services, Women and Child Development, Labour and Information and Tourism.
