Gayatri Projects Q2 net up 42.52 pc to Rs 6.79 cr

Mumbai, Oct 29 (UNI) Gayatri Projects, engaged in the execution of major civil and construction works, has recorded a growth of 42.52 per cent in net profit at Rs 6.79 crore during the quarter ended September 30 as against a net profit of Rs 4.77 crore in the same quarter previous year.

The net sales were up by 76.87 per cent at Rs 144.55 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 81.73 crore in the same quarter last year.

The improvement was also reflected in its half yearly performance as the company posted a 17.20 per cent surge in net profit for the first half year ended September 30 over the corresponding first half ended the previous year. The net profit was up at Rs 13.74 crore in the first half compared to Rs 11.72 crore in the corresponding period last year, a press release here said.
