Call money rates open at 6.00-6.10 pc

Mumbai Oct 29 (UNI) Interbank call money rates today closed slightly lower at 6.00-6.10 per cent as against the previous close of 6.10 per cent on lack of fresh buying support from local bankers, in the face of huge funds in the market.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), through three-day reverse repo, received cash worth Rs 18,135 crore at fixed rate of six per cent today.

According to market watchers, the announcemnet of CRR policy by the RBI tomorrow may push the call rates to higher levels.
