Minor girl rescued from sex racket abductors

Agra, Oct 28 (UNI) A three-year-old girl has been rescued from the clutches of a sex workers, racket here.

Kirti, resident of Lohamandi, was held captive by her grand mother Shakuntla and another women Pushpa, in a house at Kashmiri Bazaar, police said today.

The duo were involved in the flesh trade and had demanded Rs 25,000 as ransom for the girl's release.

On a tip off, police raided the place late yesterday and rescued the child.

The victim's mother Sushma had alleged the child was kidnapped by Shakuntala and another women.

Shakuntla was unhappy after Sushma left the illicit business and married Sahil five years back.

Irked at her daughter's move, Shakuntla, kidnapped her grand daughter on August 6.
