Women block traffic on national highway

Hisar, Oct 27 (UNI) A large number of women from Hansi today blocked the traffic on Hisar-Delhi national highway in protest against the shortage of drinking water and electricity in their area.

They raised slogans demanding adequate supply of water and power in the area.

Later, the police officers pacified their leaders and took them to SDM office where the officers assured to solve their problem soon.

The women threatened for indefinite dharna on the road if their problems were not resolved.

UNI
