Traffic hit as relatives seek solatium for watchman's family

Puducherry, Oct 27 (UNI) Traffic to Villuppuram was affected as relatives of a watchman of a private industrial unit who was murdered here today put up a road blockade at Pavalakkaranchavady demanding solatium to his family.

Police intervened and secured an assurance from the industrial unit on payment of financial assistance in a short time following which the agitation was called off.

Unidentified miscreants murdered Ranganathan yesterday by slitting his throat yesterday and stole money from the unit.
