Ram Sethu man made, not natural formation of rocks: VHP

Visakhapatnam, Oct 27 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International Secretary-General, Pravin Togadia today said Ram Sethu was man-made and not a natural formation of rocks as being claimed.

Speaking to newspersons at the airport here on his arrival for a two-day tour of Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam to attend a public meeting organised by Rameshwaram Rama Sethu Samrakshana Vedika, he said the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK supremo, M Karunanidhi has no role to comment on Ram Sethu, which is a reality.

Mr Togadia, while proceeding to Rajahmundry by road said nopost Godhra riots.

The VHP leader termed the Tehelka tapes as ''false and baseless'' and said many Hindus died in the riot control actions taken by the Gujarat Government post-Godhra.
