Phagwara, Oct 27 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Morcha national President Satnam Singh Kainth today alleged that law and order situation had deteriorated in the state with incidents of robberies, killings, thefts and rapes increasing.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Kainth said atrocities on weaker sections were being ignored.

He said the SAD-BJP Government had ''failed'' to come upto the expectations of people and did nothing for their welfare even after eight months of its formation.

Mr Kainth accused the Government of adopting vindictive policies and registering false cases against political rivals. The Morcha, he said, will raise its strong voice against the alleged anti-people policies of the Government.

Mr Kainth said a strategy would soon be finalised to intensify Morcha's agitation against the ''wrong'' and ''directionless'' policies of the Government.

Asked about dalits welfare programmes of the Government, Mr Kainth alleged that dalits issues were being raised by all political parties only for their own vested interests. Dalits have now awakened, he added.

Mr Kainth appealed to all dalits leaders and activists to come together under one platform as victory could not be achieved without complete unity.
