Karva Chuath holiday for women in Haryana

Chandigarh, Oct 27 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has declared October 29 as holiday for women employees of the state government on account of 'Karva Chauth'.

However, all the offices of the state government will remain open as usual, an official spokesman said.

The Chief Minister had also announced free travel facility to the womenfolk of Haryana in Haryana Roadways buses on the occasion of Raksha Bhandan.
