GVK's income up 46 per cent in Q2

Hyderabad, Oct 27: GVK Power and Infrastructure Limited's consolidated total income in Q2 was up 46 per cent at Rs 10,486 lakh and consolidated net profit up 364 per cent at Rs 3,951 lakh.

According to a press release here announcing its un-audited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 and the first half of FY 2008, the company registered a total income of Rs 10,486 lakh as against Rs 7,189 lakh during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, popsting an increase of 46 per cent.

The net profit increased to Rs 3,951 lakh (Rs 852 lakh), posting an increase of 364 per cent.

The company registered a total income of Rs 40,912 lakh and a net profit of Rs 5,803 lakh for the year ended March 31, 2007. UNI
