Centre appoints Advisors to Governor of Karnataka

Bangalore, Oct 27 (UNI) The Government today appointed three Advisors to the Governor of Karnataka Rameshwar Thakur.

The Advisors included two retired IAS officers P P Prabhu, S Krishna Kumar and retired IPS officer P K Tharakan, an official release said here today.

All the three assumed charge in the afternoon today and their term would be valid until further orders, the release added.

Karnataka is under President Rule following Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's resignation on October eight after BJP withdrew its support in protest against non- transfer of power on October three as per agreement.
