Bursting of fire crackers banned in city from 10PM to 6AM

Chandigarh, Oct 27 (UNI) Bursting of fire crackers and use of fire works have been prohibited in the city from 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs during Diwali as these cause noise pollution.

The order to this effect was issued here today by Chandigarh District Magistrate R K Rao.

This order will come into force from zero hours on October 29 and it will remain effective till November 11, 2007.
