Armed desperados rob faimiy of gold ornaments

Fatehabad, Oct 27 (UNI) Three armed desperados barged into the house of a farmer at Bhanikhera village, near Ratia, in this district last night and decamped after robbing the family of gold ornaments.

The miscreants entered the house of Natha Singh and trained pistol on his grandfather Jwala Singh, who opened the door. They then forced women members of the family to hand over their gold ornaments on pistol point.

Meanwhile, some neighbours reached there after listening cries of women. The robbers,however, escaped from the scene of crime after some villagers fired in the air to scare them away.

Police has registered a case under section 458 of the IPC and begun investigation.
