AI launches flights to Dubai from Jaipur, Lucknow

New Delhi, Oct 27: Air India Express today announced direct operations to Dubai from Jaipur and Lucknow.

Operating thrice a week, these new flights are aimed at catering to the large expatriate population origin residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

AI Express will operate on the Jaipur-Dubai route on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays while the Lucknow-Dubai flight will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

With the induction of these two new routes, AI Express will now operate 46 flights a week to Dubai from 12 Indian stations: Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Trichy, Amritsar, Nagpur, Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow.

The low-cost airline's fleet consists of seven leased and ten owned Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
