Advisors to Governor of Karnataka appointed

Bangalore, Oct 27 (UNI) The Government of India today appointed three Advisors to the Governor of Karnataka Rameshwar Thakur.

The Advisors included two retired IAS officers P P Prabhu, S Krishna Kumar and retired IPS officer P K Tharakan, according to an official release here today.

All the three assumed charges in the afternoon today and their term would be until further orders, the release added.

Karnataka is under President Rule following Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy submitted his resignation on October Eight after Bharatiya Janata Party withdrew its support in protest against non transfer of power on October three as per agreement.
