Work on Singapore-model township to begin soon

Vijayawada, Oct 25 (UNI) Work on Singapore-model township will begin shortly at Mangalagiri in Guntur district at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.

Addressing a press conference here today, Arihant Indo-African Infra Developers and Builders Private Limited (AIAIDB) Chairman C C Reddy said the company had entered into an agreement with the Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Managlagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTMUDA) for the construction of residential apartments in the township.

The company had acquired 53 acres from VGTMUDA to set up the project for Rs 92 crore.

A Special Purpose Vehicle would supervise the execution of the project, Mr Reddy added.
