Unidentified Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF in Tripura

Agartala, Oct 25: An unidentified Bangladeshi miscreant was shot dead by BSF personnel at the Indo-Bangladesh border in North Tripura. Police said here today that BSF personnel noticed a group of Bangladeshi miscreants yesterday, trying to cross the border at the Murticherra Border Out Post and when confronted, the miscreants pelted stones at the Armymen.

Consequently, the BSF personnel opened fire on the miscreants and one of them died on the spot, police said, adding that the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.
