UNICEF, Don Bosco to organise film-making workshop in Mumbai

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) For the first time, UNICEF and Don Bosco will come together to organise a film-making workshop, 'oneminutesjr.

workshop', that will be held at Don Bosco High School, Matunga here from October 27 to 31.

The five-day residential workshop, being sponsored by the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), would be conducted by Karen Cirillo, Executive Producer (Children's Broadcasting Initiatives), Communications Division of UNICEF and her team from Amsterdam and New York, a release said here yesterday.

The workshop would have 20 young students from schools all over Mumbai, including two street children -- Rashid Hussain and Zuber Rahin -- of Shelter Don Bosco, Wadala, who would be taught the art of making films.

The workshop would include basic training, outdoor shooting and editing, and would culminate in the screening of all the films in the new auditorium of Don Bosco, Matunga on October 31.

The films made by the students would be screened at the DIFF, Dubai in December, the release added.
