Top UNPA echelons to descend on Bangalore for Bangarappa bash

Bangalore, Oct 25 (UNI) Top leaders of the third front group United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) will be in the city tomorrow to attend the 75th birthday of former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader S Bangarappa.

The leaders include Samajawadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh, UNPA convenor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdulla, SP leader Amar Singh, AGP leader Vrindavan Goswami and starlets and SP parliamentarians Jaya Bachchan and Jayaprada.

Mr Abdulla was the first to arrive in the city today and the SP leaders were expected to arrive later tonight.

The birthday function has been arranged at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in the city.

UNI
