Tata Tele elects Ashok Sud as new president
Mumbai, Oct, 25 (UNI) Tata Teleservices president Ashok Sud has been elected new President and B B Anand, president of Reliance Communications as vice president of the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI) following its 10th Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi today.
During the last 10 years of its existence, AUSPI has played an important role in the telecom reforms leading to increased tele- density, reaching far-flung areas, reduction in tariffs to make the phones affordable and bringing in real competition in the telecom services sector, the release said.
