SP awaits judgement copy in Madhumita murder case

Lucknow, Oct 25 (UNI) Following the pronouncement of life term to Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Amarmani Tripathi in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, the party today said it would decide the future course of action only after receiving the judgement copy by the court.

SP general secretary Ashok Bajpai, while addressing newspersons here today said, ''since, our party MLA has been awarded life imprisonment, we would think upon the matter once we get the copy of the court's decision.'' Amarmani is an MLA from Lakshmipur Assembly constituency in Maharajganj district.

District and sessions judge court of Dehradun had yesterday convicted and sentenced Amarmani, his wife Madhumani and two others to life imprisonment in the Madhumita murder case.
