MP ideal investment destination: Chouhan

Pithampur, MP, Oct 25 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today claimed that the state has emerged as an ideal destination for investment.

''I am confident of more investment flowing into the state in the wake of an amendment to the Industrial Policy and improvement in work culture,'' he said during a 'bhoomipujan' ceremony of Mission Pharma and Medzel Pharma units in the second phase of the Special Economic Zone in Pithampur Industrial Area.

Medzel Pharma would set up a Rs 45-crore unit in two phases and Mission Pharma would inject Rs 75 crore into its project.

The Chief Minister later inaugurated IPCA Lab's Rs 100-crore export unit. Several ministers and IPCA Lab Managing Director M R Chandorkar were among those present during the occasion.
