Cummins India Q2 net up 6 % at Rs 66.46 crore

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Cummins India Ltd today said the company's net profit rose six per cent at Rs 66.46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 62.69 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

Total income of the company increased by 13 per cent from Rs 554.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs Rs 486.91 crore for the same period in 2006, a statement said.

Cummins India Ltd manufactures a variety of engines (60- 2700 HP) operating on diesel, natural gas&dual fuel, for the widest range of applications: power generation, construction&mining, compressors, locomotives, marine, oilfields, fire pumps&cranes, automotive and special applications.
