CM lays foundation stone for Bio Ethanol plant

Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for a Rs 50 crore plant of Bio Ethanol India Limited at Annadevarapeta in West Godavari District.

The plant with 60 kilo litre per day capacity would help farmers to get remunerative price for paddy, Company Executive Director A Veerabhadra Rao said in a release here tonight.

The company would procure paddy directly from the farmers of East and West Godavari districts, offering Minimum Support Price fixed by the Centre.

Praj Industries would provide latest technology for continuous fermentation with minimum water consumption, he added.
