City's Anupama Arya gets All India Woman Entrepreneur Award

Chandigarh, Oct 25 (UNI) City's entrepreneur, Anupama Arya, Director of Mobera Systems has bagged the All India Special Award for Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur for the year 2006-07.

Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology, A Raja gave away the award to Ms Arya at a function held at New Delhi, yesterday.

The award, by Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council recognises individual firms and especially women entrepreneurs who have taken initiatives in developing export of products and services in electronics and computer software sectors with all India awards, an official release said here today.

Anupama Arya is the co-founder and director of Mobera Systems Pvt Ltd, an R&D software company headquartered in Chandigarh with offices in USA and France.

Ms Arya is also a charter member of TiE, member of the Band of Angels (now Indian Angels Network), partner with SpringBoard Angels, and an Advisor to Cross Bridge Partners, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm.
