Cabinet nod for Rs 120 crore assistance for health services

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today declared Rs 120 crore assistance for health services.

While speaking to reporters here at the Collectorate, Mr Deshmukh said that the Government has sanctioned Rs 50 crore for the much-awaited cancer hospital at the Government Medical College and Hospital here.

He said this will provide a big respite to people suffering from the deadly disease.

The cancer treatment facility is part of the Rs 1,863 crore package for the development of the backward Marathwada region.
