Bomb scare at Red Fort turns out to be hoax

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) A bomb scare at the historic Red Fort this evening turned out to be a hoax, police said.

Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said the fire brigade office recieved a call at 1736 hrs that a bomb had been placed in the Red Fort.

A police team was immediately rushed to the fort. However, a search of the premises did not reveal any bomb, Mr Bhagat said.
