ASI gets advance DNA lab in remote Andaman

Port Blair, Oct 25 (UNI) The Anthropological Survey of India (ASI) here was upgraded now equipped with advance DNA laboratory with facilities for the diagnosis of infectious diseases, ASI sources said today.

The DNA laboratory with diagnostic facility besides prevention of genetic diseases also pave the way for research on human evolution while in the auditorium ethnic films will be screened for the benefit of the visitors.
