Gang of burglars busted in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 24 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of burglars in south Kashmir by arresting three people, including one from outside the state, and seized a large quantity of gold ornaments from their possession.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anantnag said the seized gold ornaments included one necklace, one chain, one pendant and four rings.
He said the arrested burglars have been identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Zargar, Azad Ahmed Sheikh and Papan Kumar Dass, a resident of Amargarh in Assam.
The SSP said a case has been registered at the Dooru Police Station in this regard and investigations were on.
