BJP demands deporting of Pak, Bangladesh nationals

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh today demanded deportation of all Pakistan and Bangladesh nationals overstaying in the State.

Talking to newspersons here, BJP State Party spokesman and party national Legal Cell Joint-Convenor N Ramchander Rao claimed that a large number of Pakistan and Bangladesh nationals were overstaying in the city and other places.

Accusing the ruling Congress of pursuing vote bank politics and compromising with national security, the BJP leader urged the State Government to enact a stringent legislation on the lines of the one enacted by Maharashtra and Karnataka Governments to curb organised crime and terrorist strikes.

Mr Rao wanted the Government to give a ''free hand'' to the police to take into custody suspects in connection with terror strikes. It was unfortunate that ''psuedo secular'' parties were making a ''hue and cry'' over picking of suspects by police in connection with the recent bomb blasts, he alleged.
