New Military Hospital to come up in Ambala Cantt
Ambala, Oct 22 (UNI) A Military Hospital costing around Rs 140 crore will be constructed in Ambala Cantonment, consisting of modern facilities to cater to the needs of present as well as ex-servicemen from all over Haryana, Kharga Corps GOC Lt Gen R K Singh said here today.
While interacting with mediapersons, he said that the new hospital with a provision of 650 beds would be constructed at the sprawling Convoy Park in the Cantonment area.
Besides, a provision had been made for an air ambulance to provide emergency service to the serious patients.
The GOC Singh inaugurated blood donation camp by donating blood at a camp organised by Kharga Coprs Medical Branch at Blood Supply Unit Ambala Cantonment.
A total of 250 people donated blood in today's camp.
