EC orders appointment of one collector, three SP in Gujarat

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The Election Commission has directed the Gujarat Governemnt to appoint M V Joshi as the new Collector of Valsad.

According to EC sources, the state government has also been directed to appoint Mr Wabang Zamir as Superintendent of Police(SP) Patan, Ms Archana Shivhare as SP Rajkot Rural and Mr Amit Vishswakarma as SP Baroda Rural.

Mr S P Tapi will continue as SP, Surat Rural.

All the appointments are with immediate effect, the sources added.
