6 injured in clash in East Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Six persons were injured in a clash between two groups in an east Delhi locality last night, police said today.

Tension gripped the Pratap Nagar area of East Delhi following a violent clash between two groups.

A few police vans, including a PCR vehicle, were also damaged in the clash wherein the members of the two groups indulged in stone- pelting.

The situation was, however, soon brought under control by the police, who arrested seven persons in this connection.

The situation in the area was now normal, police said.
