SaharaOne's new reality show 'Jjhoom India' from Oct 27

Mumbai, Oct 21 (UNI) After the runaway success of its first reality show ''Biggest Loser Jeetega'', entertainment channel SaharaOne has announced the launch of a new reality show ''Jjhoom India''.

The new format will have ten established television actors and playback singers teamed up as couples, will perform duets competing with each other during the course of the programme beginning from October 27 at 2100 hrs on Friday and Saturday every week.

Announcing the launch, SaharaOne chief executive officer Sharmista Rijhwani said, ''Jjhoom India is unique in its concept. For, the first time ever, television stars will be coached by star singers to offer a complete entertainment package.'' Ms Rijhwani said the show, produced and directed by ''Optimystix'', will be judged by an eminent panel of three jurists, comprising music director Anandji, actor Shabana Azmi and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

''Jjhoom India will witness Shweta Tiwari and Suresh Wadkar, Apara Mehta and Parthiv Gohil, Shekar Suman and Sanjeevani, Shama Sikander and Zubin Mehta, Sharad Kelkar and Vaishali Samant, Roshni Chopra and Vinod Rathod, Mrinal Kulkarni and Sudesh Bhosale, Chavi Mittal and Jatin Pandit, Sachin Tyagi and Madhushree, Varun Badola and Akriti Kakkar as ''jodis'' competing with each other.
