Relief to LPG consumers in Andaman soon:Balbir Singh

Port Blair, Oct 21 (UNI) The Consumer Cooperative Stores of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have intensified efforts to streamline the distribution of LPG cylinder in Port Blair.

Mr Balbir Singh, the General Manager, Consumer Cooperative Society, which is the main agency, assured that the consumers would start getting the cylinders in a couple of days time.

The LPG distribution had gone haywire owing to transportation problem of the cylinders, which, the GM said, has been solved.

Stating that the monthly requirement of the LPG cylinders stood at 30,000 cylinders, the GM said that the CCS was getting merely 20000 due to the transportation problem.
