One dead, 5 injured in roof collapse during musical event

Latehar, Oct 21 (UNI) One person was killed and five were injured when the roof, on which they were sitting while watching a musical programme, collapsed at Bazartand under Sadar police station area in the district last evening.

Police today said altogether six persons were injured after the roof of a shade on which they were sitting broke down during a musical event, organised at the railway station here.

One of the injured, Ravi Kumar (18), succumbed to injuries at Sadar hospital here while the others were rushed to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences at Ranchi, police added.
